Live Performances
For as long as I can remember, I have loved music and singing. I recall listening to 104.1 The Fish on the radio during car rides in the backseat of my family's 12 passenger van (I have a large family) just belting out "Hold Me"
by Jamie Grace and "We Live" by Barlow Girl.
I have always had musicians around me, my older brothers were always into acoustic and electric guitars, playing songs from Switchfoot, Skillet, Wavorly, and other artists, as well as writing their own pieces of music.
I started playing Ukulele and Guitar at age 13, my first guitar was a gift from the wife of the local church's worship leader.
I had dabbled with Piano off and on before getting interested in guitar, but only got 3 months of formal lessons when I was 12.
I joined the La Center Church worship team in 2017, becoming a Worship Guitarist, eventually becoming the Assistant Worship Leader in 2020-2021. After joining the team, my musical skills had definitely matured and broadened. I started playing Bass guitar and Piano for worship, filling in when it was needed. My Mother was the Worship Leader for that team in March 2020 to that latter portion of 2021. She and I ended up stepping down from leading that worship team, I believe in October of 2021.
In early 2019, my Mother (Lorinda), one of my brothers (Benjamin), and I, played music and sang for the Clark County Lincoln Day Dinner; mostly playing slow Jazz and love songs, and my brother also playing a couple of original Piano compositions he had written.
In March of 2022, I played purely instrumental Piano at a small rally held for Heidi St. John's campaign, playing the piano for roughly 2 and a half hours with about an hour long break in the middle.
I have a passion and adoration for music and all it's uses. Jazz fascinates me and makes me feel aware and alive, Indie Rock and Indie Pop get me excited, EDM gives me that buzz inside my chest, and Classic Rock Ballads make me wanna join the bands in the 80's and jam with them! I hope you enjoy the music I write, and perform. Thank you for venturing to learn a bit about me.
